I used a matching Lizbeth Turquoise for the chain etc. I have not done it before without using a green for the base and stem, open s up lots more colour combos!
Its terrific when the flowers come our similar to each other...doesn't always happen.Tatskoolhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12282750261031558615noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1954817887445182373.post-84919639638915400412011-02-22T02:23:45.167+00:002011-02-22T02:23:45.167+00:00Welcome back! And fun for us to read about, even if we are a bit envious!

I'm curious if the bookmark is done with 2 shuttles. The pattern doesn't indicate it, but it seems to me it would be necessary to do it that way. I think it's so amazing how the colors of the 'flowers' seem to be consistent in colors, even when using the HDT. Thanks for linking to all your examples and to this clever pattern.Kathy Niklewiczhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03471658272689112787noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1954817887445182373.post-68450664037536838892011-02-20T23:28:44.383+00:002011-02-20T23:28:44.383+00:00Hi Maureen, I did find one of the other names seem...Hi Maureen, I did find one of the other names seems to be choko..and found a recipe for the gratin dish, added it to the blog post.

Thanks Diane and Carla.Tatskoolhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12282750261031558615noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1954817887445182373.post-68862251609745825032011-02-20T23:16:32.864+00:002011-02-20T23:16:32.864+00:00Christophine looks like our "choko" - th...Christophine looks like our "choko" - they're pale green though. It sounds as though it's prepared in much the same way. At one stage, many years ago, every backyard fence was covered in choko vines - either those, or passionfruit.Maureenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02383223698959645624noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1954817887445182373.post-34610341223004955662011-02-20T19:17:09.543+00:002011-02-20T19:17:09.543+00:00Okay, I now need to go see if I have any Caribbean...Okay, I now need to go see if I have any Caribbean left.
