Wedding Stuff. Part 5c.....Today's job!

Thanks to everyone who commented what a great idea this was....and how nice it was to have participation from other tatters.
It's like a big warm hug to have such friends out there.
was the time to lay them all out and see how many I have.

At the top are the finished ones ready for the plastic sleeves, in piles of 10.
Next row are in process of glueing, hearts are on and waiting to have the Treble Clef glued on.
Then I come down to a few more recently arrived hearts to glue on as well.
Finally...horror of horrors 15 bookmarks with no hearts
that's bad!
Next to them are a pile of Treble Clefs to spare,
that's good!
as I want to make some extras.
So it's back to tatting hearts....while waiting for the dentist for a start!
I will knock off 15 pairs and more...easy peasy....I do have 2 weeks left....almost!
and I will be able to make hearts to match the new treble clefs in the 'gone wrong' Turquoise Teal...which is gorgeous.

Byee, must get on!

  1. WOW that is alot of work. I'm sure the bride and groom will love all the work that has been done!!!

  2. Your bookmark assembly line is a wonder. You are so organized!

Do I have time to help you tat up some of those last 15 hearts? (Not sure, considering air mail travel...)

  3. You are like the Sergeant-Major of Wedding Bookmarks! Look at that uniformity, and precision!

It is all very beautiful, but you are scaring me!
    Fox : ))

  4. Thanks Tatfully Yours, great sense of achievement tho!
IsDihara thanks for another big virtual hug. I tatted like a maniac this evening and got 5 and a half pairs made, lots of mistakes but no one will notice! You got me into the position where I could face this last batch, thanks a million.

Fox the only way to do this is to be organised, I put this assembly line off for too long.

At this stage for the last wedding I had a box with 250 little individual heart squiggles!! that needed joining together before I could even think of bookmark assembly. I just know how great they will look on the wedding tables. Thanks for your trojan work, I couldn't have done it without you.

  5. What lovely wedding favours and I am sure that they will look really lovely on the tables!!

  6. Lovely really lovely!

    How do you do it?

Now we know why it's been a month since you'd blogged.

  7. I love assembly lines. Wish I could be there to help. Very pretty colours!!

  8. How lovely, but what an undertaking. That's where it would send me - to the undertakers! LOL You are doing a lovely and heroic job.

  9. Thanks everyone, this is so exciting. It's the last once in a lifetime opportunity to do my bit so I might as well do the best that I can...and make my son as proud of me as i am of him.

I love your comments they keep me blogging.
Every comment is much appreciated, but please try not to use my real name in a comment or on your blog. Tatskool is my on line name and one that I really like. Thanks.
