Test tatting...another Gecko!

I had the pleasure of test tatting one of Martha Ess's gorgeous little critters for her new book of block tatted animals......this one I think was at my request....cool. She knows how much I love geckos.
You can see my other tatted geckos by clicking on the reptiles' link in my sidebar...or by doing a search at the top of the page.

 Isn't he a little cracker?
I have seen so many of the other test tats on various blogs that I can't wait to get the book with all the other critters.

I should have posted this weeks ago...almost a month since I last blogged.
We had such a glorious run of sunshine...almost all of May and June, that good sense said to be outside as much as possible.
So it has been work, work and more work....will show you the results soon...ish....maybe!
Sad to say traditional July weather has set in, and after three days of continuous rain and fog I am already feeling hard done by....and the forecast is AWFUL!

  1. You are the tatting mistress of all things Gecki. Who better to test tat that particular pattern?

  2. I've been wondering where you were! Your gecko is fab! I like the color you used. I can see a whole herd of geckos in different colors just waiting to be mead. Waiting for the book to come out to complete my woefully overdue challenge. I think the gecko will be the next motif!

  3. Thanks Vic,,,my head as swelled...or maybe it's just the incessant rain that has swollen it!

Thanks Steph, I started listing my animals on my side bar like you did. I see a host of new geckos too...in TIME! Just writing my next post.

  4. That was the perfect pattern for you to test! All these test-pictures on everyone's blog has certainly whetted my appetite for the new book - (not that I need any incentive to buy a new tatting book!)
