On to Easter Egg No 3 from Kirsten Wind Hansen's book Tatted Easter Eggs.
First try out...
Second one...
...in Flora 20 Orange and my Wedding Teal Blue and little goldey brown beads. Wowee! doesn't it look different.
My 25 Motif Challenge, was to tat 25 animals in a year, plus other tatting too of course! I completed the challenge and have challenged my self to tat another 25 animals, tho' this may take more than another year as there are so many other things I want to tat.
Looks great!

Isn't it amazing how different colors can give such different looks? Your eggs are gorgeous! Happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the eggs! Happy to say that I’ll not have to be away from tatting; just can’t do it ‘virtually’ all day long. LOL I rather like the blue and orange...:>) Cheerful

Oh, that second one is wonderful! I do love it when you work your way through an entire book, it's a fabulous resource for the rest of us!
ReplyDeleteAmazing how color can bring out a pattern. The orange/teal looks like art from our New Mexico area and the Southwest, especially with the 'accent' from the beads! Also has a 'Ukrainian' look! You're having a great time with all these neat egg!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a nice Easter.
Working thro a whole book, glad someone likes it, i must be mad!
